Privacy policy

Short version: we collect your website address and your email so we can send you a scan report. We do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What we collect

When you run a scan we collect the website address you type, your email address, and the results of the scan itself. If you book a call we collect whatever you enter in the booking form.

We also collect anonymous usage statistics — which pages get visited and which buttons get clicked. This does not identify you personally.

What we do with it

We use your email to send you the report you asked for, and to follow up about it. If you do not want the follow-up, reply and say so, or use the unsubscribe link. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it except with the services we use to run the business (email delivery and calendar booking).

How long we keep it

Scan results and contact details are kept for two years, then deleted. If you become a client we keep records for as long as we are working together plus seven years, because Canadian tax rules require it.

Getting it deleted

Email fraser@aitaskiq.com and ask. We will delete everything we hold about you within 30 days and confirm when it is done. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold.

Scanning your website

The scan reads the public pages of the address you give us, the same way a search engine does. We do not attempt to access anything behind a login, and we do not change anything on your site.
