Terms of service

Short version: the scan is free, the report is honest, and paid work is covered by a written proposal we both sign. No tricks in the fine print.

The free scan

The scan reads the public pages of the website address you give us and emails you a report. It is free, and asking for one does not commit you to anything. Only scan a website you own or have permission to check.

What the report is

The report is our honest, automated assessment at the moment we ran it. It is advice, not a guarantee — scores can change when your site changes, and fixing what the report flags is your call. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on it.

Paid work

If you hire us, the scope, price, timeline, and payment terms live in a written proposal we both agree to before work starts. That document wins if it ever disagrees with this page.

What stays whose

Your website, your brand, and your content stay yours. Work you have paid for in full is yours too. The scanner, our tools, and this website stay ours.

Fair use

Do not use the scan to probe websites you do not control, overload our systems, or resell our reports as your own. We can decline or stop a scan for any reason.

Liability

The free scan is provided as-is. To the extent Alberta law allows, our total liability for anything connected to the free scan is limited to zero dollars — it is free. For paid work, it is limited to what you paid us for that work.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
